The Midland Business Alliance (MBA) Advisory Committee on Infrastructure held a community event at the Dow Diamond on May 22, 2023.

The event topics included the following information and concluded with a community Q&A session.

  • Progress update on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ hydraulic/hydrologic study
  • A second study with the Corps
  • MBA Advisory Committee on Infrastructure’s “return on investment”
  • Proposed flood reduction projects in the Snake and Sturgeon Creeks area
  • Importance of eco-sensitive flood reduction solutions for the watershed
  • A brief update on lakes restoration
