Building a Better Community

Economic development is attracting and growing businesses, creating and retaining jobs, and making our communities a better place to live. In Midland County, the Midland Business Alliance (MBA), through the MBA Foundation, is the only 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency in the County of Midland devoted solely to the economic development of our community.

Traditional methods of economic development include business recruitment, retention and expansion; workforce development; Entrepreneurship; and strong partnerships. Newer initiatives including housing, infrastructure, internet connectivity and supporting young professionals.
