WakeUp! Midland is a high-energy networking event hosted by the Midland Business Alliance, held monthly from January through May and September through December. Designed to start your day with meaningful connections, WakeUp! features community updates, business and nonprofit spotlights, and engaging guest speakers—all in a casual, welcoming environment. We welcome nearly 300 attendees at each event, making it one of the best networking opportunities around. Whether you're looking to grow your network, stay informed on local initiatives, or support fellow professionals, WakeUp! Midland offers a dynamic space to connect and collaborate.

Early Bird Networking

Get a head start on your morning — and your networking — with early bird time at WakeUp! Midland. This video highlights how arriving between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. gives you the chance to meet other members, exchange business cards, and kick off your day with meaningful connections. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, early bird networking is one of our favorite WakeUp! traditions.

Why Pre-Registering Matters

Pre-registering for WakeUp! Midland may seem like a small step — but it makes a big difference. In this video, we explain how signing up at mbami.org no later than noon the day before the event helps the MBA team and our venue partners plan seating, prepare food (yes, including bacon!), and create a seamless experience for all attendees. A smoother start means more time for connection.
