MyMichigan Health

MyMichigan Health, a premier healthcare partner in Midland and an affiliate of Michigan Medicine and the University of Michigan Health System, has signed an agreement with Ascension Michigan to bring its Saginaw, Tawas, and Standish facilities into the MyMichigan network. This expansion furthers MyMichigan’s mission of “Creating Healthy Communities – Together” while honoring Ascension’s tradition of compassionate, personalized care.

The transition, expected to close by summer, includes Ascension St. Mary’s in Saginaw (268-bed acute care facility), Ascension St. Joseph in Tawas (47-bed inpatient facility), and Ascension Standish (25-bed critical access hospital with a 29-bed skilled nursing unit), along with related care sites and physician practices.

Both organizations are committed to a seamless transition, with no service disruptions. Dr. Lydia Watson, MyMichigan’s president and CEO, emphasized, “We are dedicated to providing exceptional care close to home.” Additionally, MyMichigan will engage employees and the community in a collaborative planning process to strengthen its culture and local connections.

McLaren Bay Region

McLaren Bay Region joined the Midland community in 2019 with the development of a 55,000 square foot facility that hosts urgent care, occupational health and primary care focused medical professionals.
