The MBA Advisory Committee on Infrastructure has been working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the County of Midland on a large hydraulic/hydrologic study of the Tittabawassee River Watershed since 2021. This first study is coming to a close soon. Using new river surveying and GIS data, the study will result in a powerful computer model of the watershed.
The Midland Business Alliance (MBA) Advisory Committee on Infrastructure will be providing a progress report to the Midland County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, December 5.
What does attainable housing mean for the fabric of a community?
To evaluate the current accumulation of debris and erosion in and around the Midland area waterways, a project will begin on Monday, October 30, to identify and document potential problem areas.
There were two earmarks for the City of Midland in the final budget that Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed on July 31. The first is $25 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds administered by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE).
