The Midland Business Alliance joined Creative 360 on September 23, 2026, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the naming of its library in memory of Jenny Kendrick at 5501 Jefferson Ave. in Midland.

Longtime Midland resident Kevin Kendrick returned from North Carolina for the special occasion honoring his late wife. Although Jenny and Kevin grew up in different worlds, both found joy and refuge in libraries, where imagination could open doors and stories could carry them anywhere.

At Creative 360, the library will continue that spirit by providing a space for reading, reflection and creativity, including the script read-throughs Jenny and Kevin loved to share together as life partners.

The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to Jenny’s memory while recognizing the role that books, stories and creative spaces can play in bringing people together.
