Jack Luna: 56 Years of Entertaining & Connecting Through Music

For more than five decades, Jack Luna has been bringing music, energy, and personality to events across the region—and for the last 40 years, he's been doing it behind the DJ booth.

“I started very young as a drummer in my dad’s band,” Jack shared. “When I took a job at Dow Corning here in Midland, I gave up drumming and picked up DJing—and I’ve been doing that ever since.”

What began as a passion evolved into a business, one deeply rooted in community. Through his company, High Fidelity Entertainment, Jack works events all over Midland, from WakeUp! Midland breakfasts to performances at senior living communities. His schedule is as diverse as his playlist.

“Midland is a great community to do business in,” he said. “A lot of the jobs I’ve gotten came through the MBA—being a member paid off. I’ve worked with Dow, Senior Services, and so many others. It’s really opened doors for me.”

That spirit of community is part of why Jack is such a fixture at WakeUp! Midland. “I've been to networking events around the area—but nothing compares to WakeUp! Midland. It’s high energy, well attended, and just a lot of fun,” he said.

And of course, you can’t talk about Jack without mentioning his signature style.

“I got that from my dad,” he smiled. “Both my parents were well-dressed, and my dad was in show business. I started dressing to stand out—something different from everyone else. People love seeing the ‘bling bling’ coming through the door.”
