
Midland, Michigan – The Midland Business Alliance (MBA) Advisory Committee on Infrastructure held its “High Water Mark” community event on May 22. For those who could not attend, the event was recorded and is available for viewing on the MBA Website or on Midland Community Television (MCTV).
Approximately 150 community members and business owners attended the afternoon of presentations, which included information on efforts to reduce mid-Michigan flooding and to build resiliency and water quality. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers updated the community on the progress of its hydraulic/hydrologic study, and a variety of environmental organizations joined in a panel discussion on clean water and eco-sensitive solutions.
There are several ways to view the three-hour recorded event. MCTV has included the event in its current programming on Spectrum Channel 188 (MGTV). Upcoming dates and times include June 17 (3 p.m.), June 18 (7 p.m.), June 23 (7 p.m.), June 24 (3 p.m.) and June 25 (7 p.m.).
